Naked cakes still a big hit in wedding world

Naked cakes are the perfect choice for the non-fondant lovers out there. We are well known for our wedding cake designs with a fondant/sugarpaste base but so many brides are asking us for these that I thought it time I did a post on them. We can do a naked wedding cake or naked birthday cake in a number of ways from tiered to miniature to single tier. We can do all sorts of cake flavour options some of which will affect the colour of the baked cake and others will look similar despite being different tasting flavours.

In terms of decoration, I absolutely love a mixture of fresh flowers and fruit as it looks so pretty but also incredibly appetising. The cake below which has the big blousy peonies on it is my perfect naked cake-I just want to tuck right in!
