Latest Cakes: Jake and the Neverland Pirates

We get a lot of requests for cakes based on children’s TV show characters for kids’ birthday cakes, and with pirates already being a hit with little ones, we’ve had a recurring theme of Jake and the Neverland Pirates in our order books recently!

This just goes to show how flexible our fantastic cake decorators are when it comes to complexity and budget. At the more simple end of the spectrum, we have the treasure island with Jake and the parrot which cost £145. Despite being simple, it certainly looks impressive, and is the perfect size for children! This 8 inch cake is extremely popular and feeds up to 20 little pirates with its delicious vanilla Victoria sponge recipe.

For a more complicated cake, we have the pirate ship with three characters and the parrot on board. This cost £375, and what child wouldn’t be excited to see this on their birthday? The pirate ship cake can feed up to 30 people, and makes for an absolutely stunning centrepiece for your child’s birthday party. It was made as a tasty chocolate fudge cake, and went down a real treat!
